Yay Chelsea hang out time!

Yesterday I got to hangout with the BFF, Chelsea! We ended up going to JoAnn's twice. The first time we went just to BS and kill time/figure out what to do. But she saw the felt and awesome little kids fabric and decided to make a blanket for her friend who's going to have a baby. She also got some felt and a nice monster fabric to make a monster doll.

We also went to Barnes And Noble to look at felt monster books for inspiration. Instead I found Ender's Game and Starcraft comic books that I don't have!

Chelsea and I also got to meet up with our friends Blake and Vern, oh, and Vern's girlfriend Sara who we never met before at Applebee's for half off happy hour. I haven't seen those two in a long time, possibly a year or even more so it was nice to hang out with them. Hopefully we can hang out more since we live in the same area again.

I also got to go to the Asian Market and finally got some Aloha Shoyu, Kimchi, and Mae Ploy green curry paste. Yumm I'm in heaven. Now i get to make some food and have something to put on rice other than just salt. I grabbed some Filipino treats also but for some reason they were out of Bibingka and that's the main thing i've been craving as of late.

I do love coffee.

It's absolutely beautiful here in Washington today - 70 Degrees I believe - so I decided to make some iced coffee to sip on while i clean up and do whatever.I also put a splash of Vanilla and it almost tastes like a white chocolate mocha.
I really hate point and click cameras. If I'm going to use that I'd rather use polaroids.

yay for books

Today I ended up going to Barnes & Noble with my mom because I had a $50 gift card to there. I had a hard time choosing what I wanted to get especially since I have a whole list of books that I would love to acquire. We ended up being in there for a good two hours. I could not find an Anthony Bourdain book to save my life there but I picked up three books.

Wreck This Journal

Homemade Hellos

Patient Zero
by: Jonathan Maberry

Already I adore Homemade Hellos and have plans to make things. Wreck This Journal is an awesome book that I'll take around with me everywhere for when I am bored and Patient Zero I'll have to review when I get done reading it.

Give me vinyl or give me death

I really need to get more thumb tacks to put more of my 7" vinyls on my wall. Last night I took a photo of what is currently on my wall. Then after I took this photo I realized that while I was couch surfing my grandma was using my room when she came over and that the Gayrilla Biscuits album has a big cock on it. Haha, woopsy. She never mentioned it though.

Some of you may know that when I left Rhode Island a lot of my things were messed with and all of my 12" vinyls were given away. I highly miss them.

So today, I'm supposed to go hang out with Chelsea. Hopefully it'll happen because it's been over 6 months since we've hung out. Plus we're going to cook/bake and take photos - mainly since I don't think she's done it before.
